I would like to talk to you about specific goal setting, and why it is vitally important to write each goal down in each area of your life. We usually find that goals fiot into 3 areas: Health, Relationships and Finance. When writing your goals down, I advise to using the word 'I' followed by the goal, then what you would like to achieve, and use a descriptive words such as 'joyously' and 'achieved', finishing with the word 'now.' With your financial goal, be specific with the amount of money you want, either a weekly, monthly or yearly figure, and then read the affirmation out load, close your eyes, and imagine yourself with the amount you desire, and what you would do with it.

It is important to be specific with the amount of money you desire, and then to imagine floating up into a screen infront of you, and seeing yourself receiving this money, as well as experiencing the emotions you would feel, such as joy, aliveness, freedom, a new self image.

With regards to a health goal, I would advise writing a positive statement, like: I enjoy perfect health and vibrant energy NOW, and it feels great ! Again, imagine floating up into your screen infront of you, and see and feel your self in perfect health, and what that would mean to you. I would advise practicing this exercise on arising, and just before retiring to sleep, when the subconscious mind is most relaxed.

If you have shopping recently for plus size swim suits, you may have experienced sticker shock. You can expect to pay from $60 to over $100 if you want a quality suit that will hold up for more than a couple of dips in the pool. Once you have found the style right for you, you will need to protect your investment. Here are the ten ways to keep you plus size swimsuits looking good throughout the season and beyond.

1. First, make sure that you purchase plus size swim suits that are made from chlorine resistant fabric. Most good brands, such as Speedo and Jantzen use only these types of fabrics for their suits. Chlorine resistant does not mean chlorine proof, but good swimsuit fabric should not fade or deteriorate quickly.

2. Look or a high Spandex content on the swimsuit tag. A suit that has a higher amount of this stretchy material will hold its shape longer and help keep bulges under control.

3. Buy at least two suits if you will be wearing swimwear more than two days in a row. Spandex requires about a day to dry thoroughly and return to its original shape.

4. Wash your swimsuit with mild detergent (use shampoo, in a pinch) after each use. It's not enough just to rinse it out because plain water will not remove chlorine or salt. Do not wring the water out of your suit. This can cause streaking and stretching.

5. Never place your swim suit in the washing machine and/or dryer. Both will deteriorate the Spandex and ruin the built-in bra cups. One of the main reasons that plus size suits are expensive is because of the sewn-in foundations, so always, hand wash your swimwear.

6. Stay out of hot tubs in a quality swim suit. The chemicals and heat will quickly destroy the fabric. If you are going to soak in a hot tub, wear a suit that you don't mind damaging.

7. Try not to sit on rough surfaces of beaches or pools. You can prevent snagging, pilling, and tearing by simply placing a towel beneath your bottom.

8. Don't hang dry your suit in the sun. After hand washing your suit, let it drip dry in a bath or laundry room. The sun will bleach the color and toughen the fabric.

9. Keep sunscreen on your skin and away from your suit. Some sunscreens will permanently stain swimwear.

10. Finally, buy the right suit for the right activity. Swimsuits that are designed for actual swimming or diving, not merely sunbathing, will generally be more durable than fashion suits.

10 Tips To Improved Hair Care

Hair care is an important part of looking good and feeling good, both inside and out. There are an endless number of hair care products that promise to shape up, curl, straighten, moisturize and rejuvenate, but what is the best way to maintain healthy hair? Here are 10 tips to get you started.

If you notice split ends, have them trimmed. This will result in healthier hair and a better overall appearance. A trim is relatively inexpensive and should only take a matter of minutes at the local salon.

Use a low to medium heat on your hair dryer. Extreme heat can dry out the hair and cause the frizzies.

Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, which is not only bad for your skin, but can dry out your hair as well.

Many people suffer from dandruff. If you are one of the many, avoid scratching or rubbing the head as this will promote flaking. Instead, use a shampoo and/or conditioner that is especially designed to treat dandruff and eliminate flaking.

If you have thin hair, add a volumizing shampoo for added body. If you have thick hair, using a healthy shine shampoo will bring out the additional beauty.

Avoid harsh hair care products, which can dry out or damage the hair. In some cases, individuals have even experienced hair loss in using certain at-home perm and/or coloring treatment products. If you want to have this type of treatment done, have it done at the salon.

In choosing a salon, make sure that you opt for one that has been in business for awhile and has a clean, professional workspace.

Ask friends for referrals. If they have used a certain hair care product, which coincides with one that you are searching for, inquire about their experience. The same is true with salons, which are often best recommended by friends and family.

When brushing your hair, use soft strokes rather than those swiped in a hurry. A part of quality hair care is, just as the name implies, caring for your hair.

When using styling products, make sure that they do not overheat prior to using them on your hair. Extreme heat can and will damage the hair, not to mention the discomfort of a burn resulting from an overheated styling product.

Anyone who notices a concerning condition, relating to their hair, should consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and/or treatment.

Facial Skin Care According to Skin Types

Facial Skin Care According to Skin Types by Natalie Aranda

Beauty and makeup tips are available everywhere - on newspapers and magazines, or on hundreds of beauty websites. The beauty of healthy and glowing skin, however, can not be replaced by any makeup techniques. The most important thing you can do is be responsible to your skin. Wash your face gently twice a day, don't use harsh products unless medically necessary, and avoid the sun.

Besides daily simple skin care, facial skin care products are also essential to keeping your beauty and preventing aging and other skin problems. Before selecting the right skin treatment for you, it is necessary to determine your skin type. There are five main skin types and different facial skin care products for every one of them, depending on your skin type the skin treatment will vary. Normal skin, dry skin and oil skin are the three most common skin types.

Normal skin type does not feel or look dry or oily, and looks fresh, clean and comfortably smooth after washing. The pores of normal skin type are visible but not large or clogged although occasionally they may break out in spots. For normal type skin, a gentle foaming facial wash accompanied by mild massaging is enough for basic care. A set of facial skin care products, designed for this type of skin, are applied after washing your face. You may want to include a refreshing facial toner.

Dry skin has a papery and thin texture with fine pores. After washing, it feels extremely dry and tight though it practically does not break out in spots. But by mid-day, flaky patches may appear if you didn't use a proper dry skin treatment. Dry skin needs special facial skin care products like creamy cleansers instead of soap. Dry skin treatment requires extra attention and efforts than normal skin. For instance, the cleanser must be left on the skin for several minutes before sweeping it away with cotton. Splashing cold water onto your face or using a thick cream moisturizer will be very helpful throughout the entire day.

Oily skin type looks and feels very greasy and its texture is coarse and thick with large and visible pores. Although it feels fine after washing it in the morning, the skin looks shiny and usually breaks out in spots by mid-day. Because the nature of oil skin, most facial skin care products, not especially designed for oily skin, are useless. A gentle foaming facial wash and an astringent lotion are basic for oil skin, along with a light oil-free moisturizer. Make sure to absorb the excess of the skin care products with a tissue to avoid the shiny appearance of your face.

You only have one face, so baby it.
